Initial assessment

You will be asked to complete a health history form and a pain assessment form.  From there your initial assessment will be performed by a Laser Approach RMT (registered massage therapist) or a physiotherapist from the Meridian Spine and Joint Physiotherapy Centre.

This assessment will consist of orthopedic, range of motion, neurological and gait analysis testing.   The information gathered from here will be utilized to formulate a treatment plan for your specific condition.  The therapist may also advise you of additional therapies or homecare that can enhance your recovery.

Low Intensity Laser Therapy LILT

LILT treats musculoskeletal injuries, chronic and degenerative conditions and wounds by interacting with various intracellular biomolecules to improve the speed and quality of the body’s natural healing processes. LILT is a safe, non-toxic, and non-invasive alternative to analgesics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and other medications.

Registered Massage Therapy

Massage releases chronic tension and pain in muscles, improves circulation, improves tissue health, increases flexibility in the joints, and reduces mental and physical fatigue. A superb complement to laser therapy. We see a shorter recovery time when combining laser therapy with massage.

Smoking Cessation Program

The Laser Approach is proud to offer a Smoking Cessation program that uses modern laser technology combined with traditional acupuncture protocols to reduce cravings. In just 60 minutes you could be smoke free without the use of drugs, patches, gums, needles or hypnosis.

Weight Loss Program

As part of our commitment to health and well being, The Laser Approach offers one of the healthiest approaches to weight loss management. We provide low intensity laser applications, nutritional products and total vitamin and mineral supplementation. Reiki

Reiki is a hands-on healing technique which transfers Reiki healing energy from the practitioners’ hands to the client. Reiki is different from other healing modalities in that it is guided by a life force of its own and knows exactly where it is needed the most. Reiki complements other forms of therapies and medical treatments and can be used in a preventative capacity or simply as a form of relaxation.
